Stryker, a partner of Skymedical, held 3 sessions of theoretical-practical courses on cadaveric arthroscopy. These took place between June 30th and July 2nd, at the Complutense University of Madrid.
The event provided training in the arthroscopic procedure for pathologies of the hip, shoulder and knee, dedicating a daily session to each of the joints. The first day focused on the anatomical area of the hip, combining a theoretical and practical component. On the second day, the techniques were tried and focused on shoulder pathologies. Finally, on the last day, the course was dedicated to the knee approaches and techniques. In the attendance were six Portuguese healthcare professionals, two per course each specialty.
Stryker leads the world market in medical technology along with other players, striving for the diversity of innovative products and services in several healthcare areas. Since 2013, Skymedical assumes itself as an official Stryker agent in Portugal.
