Stryker, a partner of Skymedical, held 3 sessions of theoretical-practical courses on cadaveric arthroscopy. These took place between June 30th and July 2nd, at the Complutense University of Madrid.

Skymedical supported the 2nd edition of the Arthroscopy Knee theoretical-practical course, organized by AHED. Dedicated to surgical techniques of knee arthroscopy, the course took place on June 18 and 19, at the anatomical theater of Nova Medical School. It was, once again, coordinated by Professor João Gamelas.
Skymedical continues to be a key partner in AHED courses. The theoretical-practical course, dedicated to innovations and trends in shoulder surgery, took place at Nova Medical School, under the coordination of specialist Dr. António Cartucho between the 28th and 29th of May.

The first endoscopic spine surgery using materials from the international company, leader in technology for this pathology – MaxMore Spine, took place on March 18th at Hospital CUF Viseu.
Between March 24th and 26th, Skymedical was externally audited by a third party concerning the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) certified by ISO 9001: 2015. After an extensive process involving all departments, Skymedical proved to have correctly executed the procedures and the certificate was renewed.
Skymedical, along with its partner Stryker, sponsored the development of a course dedicated to the Endonasal Transfenoidal Endoscopic approach to injuries at the base of the skull. The course was organized by AHED – Advanced Health Education, and took place at CUF Descobertas.
On the 20 and 21 January, Skymedical attended Stryker’s European Sales Meeting (ESM), an annual event for all its employees and official agents in the area of Marketing and Sales. This year, under the motto “Together with our Customers”, the virtual meeting joined about 3000 participants.
